Heureka Marketplace, previously known as Heureka Košík, represents a new sales model that helps Czech e-shops expand their reach. This change is more than just a name – it brings the opportunity to tap into foreign markets, which can be a huge advantage for any seller. Heureka is thus becoming a significant partner not only in the Czech Republic but also beyond its borders.

It works as a marketplace where each e-shop can sell its goods directly to customers. Shopping takes place directly on Heureka, which guarantees a safe and reliable purchase. Customers don’t need to switch to other websites and can make purchases immediately.

This type of purchase is globally very popular and continues to grow. Many large companies, such as Mall or Alza, have been using this model for years, and Heureka is joining the trend with its own platform.

Advantages of Heureka Marketplace

  1. Support for your brand – Heureka gives your brand space to stand out. Unlike some competitors, your logo remains visible, and you won’t be overshadowed by others’ products.
  2. Low commissions and no hidden costs – Sales commissions are among the lowest on the market, and everything is transparent. There are no hidden fees for payment gateways or monthly charges. You only pay for completed sales, not for mere clicks.
  3. Opportunities for smaller shops – Even small businesses have the chance to stand out and gain better positions in search results. In some cases, your product can appear twice – once in the top spot and once in paid search.
  4. Increased sales – Since Heureka covers a large portion of the Czech online market, your chances of acquiring more customers and sales increase. If you offer competitive prices, Heureka will push you higher.
  5. Top positions – In certain categories, you have the chance to reach the very top among the best offers.
  6. You only pay for sales – You don’t pay anything upfront; the commission is only for completed and paid orders.
  7. Mobile shopping advantages – If your e-shop isn’t optimized for mobile, Heureka ensures that customers can shop comfortably even from mobile devices.

How to join Heureka Marketplace?

To take advantage of Heureka Marketplace, you must meet several conditions. These include:

  • Verified by customers certificate – either blue or gold.
  • PPC mode – meaning paid product promotion.
  • Correct product categorization – so they can be easily found.

Once you meet these conditions, you can offer your products to customers on Heureka.

Activating the Marketplace

To activate the Marketplace, go to the Heureka administration and select the activation option. There you will find three possibilities depending on your current status:

  • Customer verification is not implemented – You need to introduce and implement the service according to the instructions.
  • Customer verification is implemented, but the certificate is missing – This means you don’t have sufficient ratings yet.
  • Customer verification is fine – In that case, everything is set, and you can start.

Integration options – API or noAPI?

Heureka Marketplace offers two ways to connect your e-shop:

  1. API integration – The recommended method. It automatically synchronizes orders, prices, and stock availability between your e-shop and Heureka. This eliminates the risk of customers ordering products that are out of stock or priced incorrectly.
  2. noAPI integration – Manual order management directly in the Heureka administration. This method is more suitable for smaller e-shops or those who want to try the system first.

What will you find in the administration?

The Marketplace administration offers a comprehensive overview of your sales:

  • Product overview – You can see all your products, including those not displayed due to category restrictions.
  • Statistics – How many products were sold, at what price, and what were the commission costs.
  • Orders – Complete order management, especially for noAPI users.
  • Payments – An overview of payment transactions and the possibility of payouts to your account.
  • Commission invoicing – A list of commission invoices and payments.

In the next part, we’ll look at how to prepare for the Christmas season and what activities you should consider during this period.
